These hands may seem weird. That’s good. They are from a little experiment in Surrealism I performed. I recorded some dreams in a journal and then created some art based on the dreams. These issued from a dream in which a pair of hands under a small spot light —in a very dark room— opened up a deep red, velvet cloth and revealed four cards to me. On each card was a painting of a hand. Here are three of the four cards I created to commemorate that dream.
